About The Role 💻 

We are looking for a Associate Data Analyst for our Data Access Request Team (“DART”). If you’re a driven, smart, creative, and curious individual with a passion for tech and social impact, we are looking for you!

The Clarity DART team is dedicated to providing high-quality and efficient data extractions and day-to-day data insights to support our clients in their understanding and evaluation of sustainability aspects of their investments, such as metrics that measure ESG, climate, and impact of corporations. As a data-driven company, Clarity aggregates millions of data points from entities such as governments and companies and validates, synthesizes, and transforms these to provide comparable and actionable conclusions to our clients. DART helps our clients understand what data is applicable to them and how we can support their sustainability goals.

What You’ll Be Doing 🚀

Working as a(n) Associate Data Analyst, you will be responsible for: 

  • Ad hoc data extraction, analysis, and data set preparation
  • Converting raw data into user-understandable and meaningful data by creating excel files, dashboards or reports
  • Developing templates and standards for data extraction and synthesis
  • Identifying and resolving inconsistencies or data gaps, help us to develop internal tools to ensure the data quality and make the data more easily accessible to internal users
  • Interacting with Sales executives, Product specialists, and client service teams to solve client questions

The role is based in Madrid(Spain)

Way of Working: Remote / Hybrid 

What You’ll Need 👀

  • 1-3 years of experience
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in a technical or data-related field (e.g. engineering, mathematics … )
  • Experience developing with Python
  • Data analysis experience using SQL
  • Experience with BI and Data warehouses
  • Eager to learn in a collaborative team environment
  • Strong communication skills and empathy to solve internal customer requests (ad-hoc data analysis, data platform support, etc)
  • Curious about understanding data structures and the insights that can be derived from it
  • Proactive in solving data challenges
  • Fluency in English (C1)
  • Authorized and eligible to work in the EU 

Nice To Have ✨

  • Experience in a start-up
  • Interest in sustainability metrics.
  • Experience with financial data automatic testing
