Job Description

We are looking for an experienced, commercially driven Partnerships Manager to join our Strategic Partnerships team in London. You will be part of a tribe that is passionate about thinking differently and getting things done.

This is a new role within a Global team. We are looking for a strategic operator who is not fazed by rapid pace and loves a challenge. You will be making big decisions on where Wise invests time and resources. We will be looking for you to run targeted tests and then scale when you find out what works.

The goal will be to use your commercial talents to unlock new groups of customers who have a need for Wise, but didn't know enough about us to use us before.

We are looking for someone to hit the ground running; to develop our strategic consumer partnerships framework and to work closely with internal marketing teams (e.g. brand, PR, social, regional) to ensure this new plan fits within our regional marketing strategy.

Note: this is not a Wise Platform role.

Responsibilities

  • Strategy & Planning

    • Define the overarching strategy for B2C partnerships, ensuring alignment with global and regional marketing goals

    • Identify and prioritise partnership opportunities within the mass consumer market (think travel agents, go abroad consultants) and within high-value international communities (think students, expats)

    • Forecast the financial impact of partnerships and manage the associated budget, ensuring a clear path to measurable return on investment

  • Sourcing & Negotiation & Execution

    • Proactively prospect and qualify potential partners from multinational brands for mass exposure to influential community organisations for niche targeting

    • Lead complex commercial negotiations, establishing favorable terms, KPIs, and legal agreements for varied partnership types (offline, brand activations, online nurturing, content collaborations and more)

  • Go-To-Market & Execution

    • Oversee the end-to-end launch of partnership campaigns, working closely with internal marketing, regional growth managers, legal and product teams to ensure smooth delivery

  • Performance & Optimisation

    • Define and track key performance indicators for each partnership, including metrics across the funnel that drive measurable growth

    • Use strong analytical skills to identify performance trends, opportunities and challenges within new activities, effectively translating insights into strategy

    • Maintain and nurture long-term relationships with existing partners, identifying opportunities for expansion, renewal, and increased investment based on proven results

  • Team Leadership & Mentorship

    • Provide strategic direction and direct management for a team of 2+ partnership specialists. Oversee team workflow and resource allocation to effectively scale B2C and international community projects
