About the Role:
Join our Microsoft Business Group Data & AI team to shape, sell and land modern data platforms and AI solutions on Azure and Fabric, including Copilot and agentic AI patterns. You’ll lead technical design and delivery for complex solutions, ensuring they are secure, responsible, and aligned with client outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
Delivery Leadership (approx. 80%) –
Own end-to-end solution architecture during delivery phases, ensuring adherence to design principles and governance;
Lead design reviews, manage risks and assumptions, and ensure compliance with Responsible AI and security standards;
Partner with engineering teams to implement Fabric landing zones, data products, and AI services;
Provide technical leadership to delivery teams, resolving design issues and ensuring scalability and performance;
Support client workshops and steer solution evolution during delivery.
Pre‑sales & Solutioning (approx. 20%)
Contribute to shaping opportunities and technical solutioning for pursuits;
Support RFx responses with architecture inputs and delivery approach;
Develop reusable assets and share best practices across the team.
We are looking for experience in the following skills:
Technical Skills:
Deep expertise in the Azure ecosystem, with focus on Microsoft Fabric, Azure AI Services, and AI Foundry;
familiarity with Copilot Studio and M365 Copilot for extending Copilot capabilities;
experience with agentic AI patterns (Azure AI Agent Service, RAG, orchestration);
strong pro‑code capabilities and ability to design enterprise-grade solutions.
Manager-Level Skills (Data Architecture Lens):
Ability to define data architecture blueprints and govern data models across multiple domains;
experience leading data platform migrations and modernisation programmes (Fabric, Synapse, Lakehouse);
strong understanding of data governance, lineage, and compliance (Purview, security, privacy);
expertise in data integration patterns (ETL/ELT, streaming, APIs) and performance optimisation;
stakeholder management and ability to influence senior client decision-makers;
competence in estimating, shaping SoWs, and managing RAIDs for large-scale data programmes.
Certifications & Experience:
Two Microsoft Data & AI associate-level certifications (e.g., DP‑600, DP‑203, AI‑102) or equivalent demonstrable experience;
track record in technical leadership for complex Azure Data & AI deliveries.
