We are looking for a Quality Assurance Engineer to join a new Product development team, which is integrated within the Engineering Division, and ensure that we deliver strong and reliable solutions to our clients. 

We welcome self-motivated, detail oriented and enthusiastic testers, passionate about quality, thus focused to deadlines and customers. 

Main Responsibilities 

  • Actively participate in Agile/scrum ceremonies, contributing to Sprint planning, daily stand-ups to estimate, prioritize and plan test activities through the Sprint lifecycle. 
  • Review business requirements and technical design documents to develop effective test plans in collaboration with Business analysts and the development team. 
  • Ensure full coverage for new and existing features. 
  • Prepare detailed Test Cases and execute manual testing to verify functional and non-functional business requirements and confirm that system meets customer expectations. 
  • Design and implement automated test cases to cover functional and regression scenarios. 
  • Execute the automated test suite and review test results.  
  • Communicate own progress and escalate issues in a timely manner. 
  • Record, follow-up and close identified defects when resolved. 
  • Maintain test documentation including Release notes, test cases, scripts, and manuals. 
  • Support customer User Acceptance Testing (Issues tracking, resolution and re-testing). 
  • Contribute to our On Time/On Budget/On Quality success story! 
  • Ensuring that all activities and duties are carried out in full compliance with regulatory requirements and supporting the continued implementation of the Group Anti-Bribery and Corruption Policy. 

Requirements
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Computer science, Engineering, or related field. 
  • Possess a firm command of both the Greek and English language (oral and written) 
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in Software Quality Assurance with adaptability to various testing methodologies 
  • Strong Communication and collaboration skills with the ability to work effectively within a scrum team. 
  • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to identify and address issues independently and effectively 
  • Understanding of continuous integration and delivery 
  • Experience with black box testing techniques 
  • Desire to grow in areas of expertise as needed by the evolving needs and goals of the company 

Technical Skills 

  • Knowledge of MS Office and basic DB queries. 
  • Skilled in the utilization of tools like Postman and soapUI for testing REST and SOAP Web services. 
  • Experience working with Robot framework, Selenium, GitLab or equivalent tools and technologies is required. 
  • Knowledge of at least one programming language (Python, Java, C++) is required for the role. 
  • Familiarity with agile methodologies and tools like Jira, Confluence in and test management tool (Zephyr) would be considered a plus. 
  • ISTQB Foundation certificate in Software Testing is advantageous but not required.
