Krotos develops innovative technologies that fundamentally advance the art of sound. Featured in blockbusters like Game of Thrones, Avengers: Age of Ultron, The Jungle Book and Far Cry 4. Krotos’ Dehumaniser has wowed Hollywood and the video game industry by making it possible for actors to perform otherworldly creature voices. Dehumaniser Live, the middleware plugin for interactive media, made its debut at the 2017 Sundance Film Festival in The Life of Us, a VR experience from Within. Reformer, Krotos’ latest innovation, makes it possible for sound designers to perform a library of sound effects with their voice or any other audio input. Paula Fairfield, sound designer on Game of Thrones called Reformer “insanely awesome”. "Dehumaniser is an incredible tool for creating unique and varied vocal sound design treatments. Tackling decarbonisation and the transition to net zero means radically transforming the vast network of energy infrastructure which makes the modern world go. To meet this unprecedented challenge, we need to build considerably more infrastructure at an unprecedented pace. The planning of new linear infrastructure projects is often lengthy and requires taking into account a multitude of technical considerations and reconciling the often competing viewpoints of various stakeholders. At Continuum Industries, we aim to accelerate the world’s transition to renewable energy by enabling faster, lower-risk and more environmentally conscious project development for power, utility and renewables companies. Our solution, Optioneer™, leverages geospatial data combined with design and planning rules and tests millions of potential routing alternatives against project-specific environmental, social, cost and technical considerations. Our AI-powered platform generates a shortlist of tailored options, in just a few hours. Using Optioneer’s user-friendly interface, the project team is able to compare and evaluate the shortlisted routes against key performance indicators, iterate when new data arises and keep a record of key decisions made during the process. Optioneer drives efficiencies across every project, streamlining collaboration and facilitating more dynamic engagement with stakeholders. It's time to make infrastructure projects work smarter, not harder

We work to ensure financial markets work well for individuals, for businesses and for the economy as a whole. We do this by: - regulating the conduct of approximately 50,000 businesses - prudentially supervising 48,000 firms - setting specific standards for around 18,000 firms We were set up on 1 April 2013, taking over conduct and relevant prudential regulation from the Financial Services Authority (FSA). Our Head Office is based in London, and we work across the UK, from our office in Edinburgh and via colleagues in Belfast and Cardiff. Firms and individuals must be authorised or registered by us to carry out certain activities. Before we grant authorisation, firms must demonstrate that they meet a range of requirements. We then supervise these firms to make sure they continue to meet our standards and rules after they’re authorised. If firms and individuals fail to meet these standards, we have a range of enforcement powers we can use. We work alongside the Prudential Regulation Authority (PRA), the prudential regulator of around 1,500 banks, building societies, credit unions, insurers and major investment firms.

Approov is considered a cornerstone of mobile application security for leading global organizations whose consumer and B2B applications are used by millions annually, including eCommerce, financial services, healthcare, gaming and connected car sector organizations. Approov provides a comprehensive runtime security solution for mobile apps and their APIs, unified across iOS and Android. Mobile apps have become a critical element for every business and unfortunately can expose organizations to breaches, fraud, denial of service, and other forms of API abuse. Approov immediately stops any automated tools or compromised apps from manipulating any part of the end-to-end mobile platform, turning away unauthorized access attempts by scripts, bots and fake or tampered apps. With no false positives and by providing runtime application self protection (RASP) as well as just in time management of API keys, secrets and certificates, Approov also adds operational convenience to security. Approov EMEA Headquarters are located in Edinburgh, Scotland, with the US headquarters are located in Palo Alto, California. The company, formerly known as CriticalBlue, Limited is a well-established part of the UK technological scene. After many years providing mobile security solutions for key clients like Intel and Thales, Approov went live for mobile customers in 2017, after two years focused on perfecting attestation techniques to ensure that only genuine mobile app instances can access your APIs. Keeping scripts and bots off your APIs is the name of our game. Our R&D team brings deep skills in binary level dynamic software analysis and in building robust cloud service platforms. We have built up significant expertise in mobile operating systems and runtimes, having delivered advanced analysis tools and contract services to optimize performance of both consumer and highly secure system platforms.
