About Uplisting

What started in the UK in 2017 is now a fast-growing platform designed to be the go-to solution for hosts and operators who want to streamline their operations and unlock growth. From automated messaging to channel management, from task coordination to financial reporting, Uplisting gives users the reliability and simplicity they need to run professional, efficient, guest-ready businesses.

Our mission is simple: to empower the next generation of short-term rental creators by providing flexible, user-friendly, and technology-driven tools that remove friction and spark innovation. Whether someone is managing their first property or scaling a portfolio, we’re here to help turn ambition into sustainable success.

In 2023, Uplisting joined the AirDNA community, a collaboration that strengthens our ability to support hosts at every stage of their journey. By combining Uplisting’s powerful operational toolkit with AirDNA’s world-class market intelligence, we’re helping entrepreneurs make smarter decisions, grow faster, and operate with confidence across Airbnb, Vrbo, and beyond.

The AirDNA team
We’re a curious, driven, and kind group of humans who genuinely love what we do. Our values - Happy, Hungry, Honest - guide how we show up for our customers and for each other.

Want to see what that looks like in action? You’ll get a feel once you meet us.
We welcome applicants from all backgrounds and encourage you to apply even if you don’t check every box. Passion, potential, and perspective matter here.

Together, we’re building a complete ecosystem for short-term rental success - from investment to day-to-day operations.

The Role

The Account Executive (AE) will be a trusted expert in the Short-Term Rental (STR) space, responsible for running high-quality qualification, discovery, demo, and negotiation conversations that drive renewable MRR. The role focuses on helping property managers identify meaningful business needs and confidently connecting those needs to Uplisting solutions.
You’ll follow a structured sales process, operate with strong forecasting and CRM discipline, and ensure a seamless handover to the Onboarding or Customer Support teams, maximizing customer adoption and long-term value. This role may also include attending industry events in the UK (travel covered).

What makes this role so interesting?

  • You’ll have direct impact on revenue, pipeline health, and how we sell to property managers
  • You’ll sell a high-value SaaS product that genuinely helps customers run better businesses
  • As PMs professionalise, demand for data-driven, all-in-one PMS solutions is accelerating
  • Sharpen core sales skills: consultative discovery, value-based demos, negotiation, and forecasting
  • Join a high-performance sales team that values hunger, curiosity and growth
  • You’ll be trusted as a partner to prospects, not just a seller

Here’s how you’ll be making an impact:

  • Build and maintain at least 2x pipeline coverage through inbound
  • Run deep, consultative discovery calls and value-led product demos
  • Forecast accurately and consistently bring deals in commit
  • Build champions, negotiate pricing, and navigate deals to close
  • Identify and research potential clients within the short-term rental market (build your own lists of STR operators with name and contact details for outbounding)
  • Maintain strong CRM hygiene and pipeline discipline to support predictable revenue
  • Stay up to date on STR market trends and position yourself as a trusted industry expert
  • Ensure smooth handover to Onboarding, CS, or Technical teams to support adoption and long-term success
  • A hunter mentality and a self-starter / highly accountable approach are key to success
  • Embrace a scrappy, entrepreneurial spirit - identify quick wins and innovate to overcome challenges

We’re looking for someone with:

  • 2+ years of full-cycle SaaS sales experience, ideally full-cycle, with both inbound + outbound experience
  • Proficiency in English
  • Strong communication skills with an ability to engage and persuade
  • Demonstrated passion for sales with a hunter mentality
  • Clear, confident negotiation skills (not afraid to close high-value deals)
  • A sharp, accountable mindset: you own your numbers and outcomes
  • Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong CRM hygiene and pipeline discipline
  • Understanding of data and how it helps businesses make better decisions
  • Experience creating pricing proposals, negotiating terms, and managing the contract process

Bonus points

  • STR experience (Tourism/Travel tech)
  • Experience on events attendance
  • Hubspot experience

Here's what you can expect from us:

  • Any hire made outside of Spain would be a full-time contractor. Benefits for remote UK contractors include:
  • OTE salary range: 64,000 - 70,000 GBP (yearly)
  • Flexible remote environment
  • Continuing education stipend
  • Language lessons with Preply (French-Italian-Spanish)
  • A friendly, collaborative team that values clear communication
  • Opportunities for growth, mentorship, and learning new technologies
  • A mission-driven product with real user impact

Hiring Process:

  • First stage: Virtual interview with the People Team at AirDNA (30min)
  • Second stage: Show & tell (short 3-5min video + written task)
  • Final stage: Meet the Hiring Manager + Peer (45min)
  • Post-offer / Pre-employment: Reference and employment verification check

  • Ideal start date: Q1 2025
