Job Description 

The Account Executives a customer-facing mid-to-senior level (depending on experience) sales role. This role will own and support sales opportunities in Eastwall’s pipeline alongside executive leadership.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead Generation & Support 
  • Develop a healthy pipeline and source new sales opportunities through networking and Microsoft relationships. 
  • Qualify leads from Microsoft partner referrals, inbound marketing, website inquiries and other sources. 
  • Engage prospects through relative channels such as events, conferences, marketing campaigns, direct and indirect channels. 
  • Deliver commercial insight and manage customer feedback to shape deal and offering strategy, understanding market positioning and strengths/weaknesses.
  • Day-to-Day Activities 
  • Prospect into the Microsoft Field sales team, positioning Eastwall’s services as a leading partner & systems integrator (SI) in the Azure Infrastructure, Apps, Data, & AI space.
  • Research accounts to identify key players, Microsoft account alignment, market/industry position and strategy, sales opportunities, and challenges. 
  • Host Microsoft-facing and Client-facing scoping presentations, positioning solutions and technical leadership to deliver outcome-based technical projects on the Azure cloud.
  • Enter, update, and maintain CRM information on leads, prospects, and opportunities. 
  • Ensure sales pipeline and contractual documentation materials meet Eastwall quality standards, brand alignment and go-to-market messaging consistency. 
  • Maintain market knowledge including competitive pricing and offers, policies and strategies. 
  • Coordinate with Eastwall staff to align efforts from sales through to delivery, including project kickoff, change order management and account relationship management. 
  • Work with executive leadership to continuously improve artifacts & processes associated with sales and the overall customer journey. 

Experience & Skills

  • Minimum three (3) years selling inside the Microsoft Partner Channel ecosystem, either as an ex-employee of Microsoft or a track record of sales success at a previous Microsoft Systems Integrator (SI). Applicants without this experience are not eligible for this position.  
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Business, Marketing, Professional Sales, Engineering, Information Technology is preferred, but not required. 
  • Proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint, Excel & Word from a consultative perspective. 
  • Previous Azure cloud exposure & experience. 
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills. 

Expectations

  • This role is an individual contributor position in a small but growing business. You will bring an independent, entrepreneurial mindset and ‘hunter’ focus to sourcing new opportunities.
  • This role holds a pipeline/quota metric that will expand year-over-year as the business grows. 
  • New hires in this role will complete the following certifications within the first eight weeks of hire: Exam AZ-900: Microsoft Azure Fundamentals 
  • Travel for this role is up to 50% within the continental United States 

Compensation & Benefits 

Total compensation is a combination of base salary, commission, and bonus incentives. Eastwall salary ranges are determined by role and experience (not location). Eastwall is committed to providing very competitive on-target earnings (OTE) for this role. Additional benefits include:
