The OpportunityWorking within the Medical Technology division at ZEISS, we are looking for an Ophthalmology Account Manager to drive sales of our ophthalmology portfolio across NHS, private hospitals, and consultant practices within Surry, Hampshire and Dorset.What You’ll Be Doing:
  • Promote and sell ZEISS ophthalmology products across surgical, diagnostic, and refractive categories.
  • Conduct product demonstrations and training for devices such as:
    • Surgical: ARTEVO Microscope, Quatera Phaco System, IOLs, OVDs
    • Diagnostic: Clarus Camera, Cirrus OCT, HFA Field Analyzer, Slit Lamps, IOL Master, YAG Laser, FORUM Software
    • Refractive: Visumax, MEL 90
  • Manage existing accounts and develop new opportunities.
  • Collaborate with clinical teams, procurement, and internal stakeholders.
  • Maintain CRM records and prepare account plans.
  • Attend exhibitions, workshops, and marketing events.
What We’re Looking For:
  • Proven sales experience, ideally in medical devices or healthcare.
  • Knowledge of ophthalmology is desirable but not essential.
  • Strong communication skills and a customer-centric mindset.
  • Ability to manage hands-on demos and build long-term relationships.
  • Eligible to work in the UK with a valid UK driving license (max 3 points).
  • Self-starter, proactive, and confident to engage with stakeholders.
