The opportunity

Raconteur, a TechnologyAdvice brand is seeking a dynamic and highly motivated Account Manager to play a pivotal role in supporting our senior sales team and driving new business opportunities within our target client landscapes. This role is crucial in bridging the gap between senior salespeople and our support teams, ensuring seamless delivery of client campaigns while nurturing existing client relationships.

You will work closely with senior sales staff to identify new opportunities, run outreach strategies to engage them, support ongoing client conversations, and assist in proposal creation and follow-ups. This position requires a proactive approach to identifying new business opportunities, managing client communications, strong organisational skills, and a passion for delivering exceptional client experiences.

The ideal candidate will demonstrate a desire to support winning new business, a solutions-driven mindset, and the ability to collaborate effectively with both internal teams and external stakeholders.

Location: United Kingdom, Hybrid in our central London office on Thursdays.


What you'll do

  • Collaborating with senior sales staff to identify new business opportunities within target client landscapes, and run outreach campaigns to engage them.
  • Supporting ongoing client conversations by preparing proposals, conducting follow-ups, and ensuring timely responses to client needs.
  • Building and maintaining strong relationships with clients to support account growth and retention.
  • Assisting with the creation and delivery of compelling sales pitches and presentations.
  • Acting as a liaison between senior sales staff and support teams to ensure the smooth execution of client campaigns.
  • Conducting thorough market research to identify trends and opportunities that inform client strategies.
  • Tracking and reporting on account performance and client engagement.


Who you are

  • 1 - 3 years of experience in new business outreach strategies, account management, sales support, or a related role, ideally within the B2B media or marketing sectors.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a client-centric approach.
  • Proactive and solutions-oriented, with a keen eye for identifying opportunities and driving results.
  • Experience with sales or CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce, LinkedIn Sales Navigator).
  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and build strong internal relationships.
  • Ambitious, inquisitive, and passionate about delivering exceptional client experiences.

Work authorization

Employer work visa sponsorship and support are not provided for this role. Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United Kingdom at hire and must maintain authorization to work in the United Kingdom throughout their employment with our company.

Salary Range
We seek to hire top-tier individuals and intend for our compensation to be at a rate that allows us to recruit and retain individuals who align with our core values, purpose, mission, and vision. Final total compensation is based on a multitude of factors including, but not limited to, skill level, relevant experience to the position, and cost of labor.

Annual pay range:

£35,000£40,000 GBP

Total annual compensation including commission up to:

£45,000£55,000 GBP
