- Updates, analyzes, and modifies procedures to improve operations within vendor management department
- Supports and works with senior team members and management to develop the implementation strategies to increase vendor engagement and new business growth within the organization
- Assists in developing, managing, and maintaining vendor and business relationships and to provide quality customer service to vendors
- Supports ongoing process improvement with account relations managers to increase vendor quality, compliance, and efficiency in all vendors related processes
- Assists with researching information regarding competitors, vendors, member or providers, and industry to improve service and/or quality and build a competitive advantage
- Supports evaluating vendor performance based on contractual obligations (e.g., service-level agreements (SLAs)) to ensure expectations are met with member or providers regarding the products or services being delivered including the quality of customer service
- Assists with tracking vendor performance metrics, identifying process improvements, and tracking remediation to provide to account relations managers and management
- Performs other duties as assigned
- Complies with all policies and standards
Education/Experience: Requires a High School diploma or GED
Requires 2 - 4 years of related experience. Call center experience highly preferred. Knowledge and understanding of prescription drug coverage preferred.
