About the team

Product & Technology Development

Our Product and Technology teams are the Worldpayers behind the game-changing products and digital experiences we’re best known for. Striving for better, they never stand still — delivering impactful innovations that power transactions across the world. 

Within the technology domain, you’ll be working in the Agile Org, a group of project, agility and delivery experts keeping the engine of Worldpay running at peak performance.

What you’ll own

As a Scrum Master you will be working with teams responsible for building, releasing and operating products for the business. This role means that you take on significant leadership and coaching responsibilities within sprint teams and the organisation.  As a Scrum Master, you have a specialisation towards coaching development teams, Product Owners, stakeholders and managers in agile practices and values. 

  • The Scrum Master is a servant leader who enables our Agile teams to self-organise, self-manage, and deliver via effective Lean-Agile practices. 
  • You will be educating and mentoring the teams in Scrum, Kanban, SAFe and other Agile methods ensuring that the agreed upon Agile process is being followed to deliver value to customers. 
  • You will be responsible for facilitating the team-level events and assisting the Release Train Engineer (RTE) for train-level events. 
  • Removing impediments and foster an environment for high-performing team dynamics, continuous flow, and relentless improvement.  The Scrum Master also helps the team coordinate with other teams on the Agile Release Train (ART) and communicates status to management as needed. 
  • You will understand Agile and SAFe values and demonstrate them continuously.

What you bring

  • Exceptional working knowledge in Agile technology delivery and tools, including experience in SAFe Agile framework
  • An inquisitive personality that is always looking for constant improvement opportunities 
  • Strong mentoring, coaching and leadership skills 
  • Good working experience in an Agile environment, preferably in SAFe, Scrum and/or Kanban 
  • Experience working across multiple technical, software, or business unit teams to develop software solutions 
  • Ability to understand business and technology concepts quickly and able to facilitate those conversations
