What You’ll do

 

Your key accountabilities will include

  • Define and lead the enterprise AI Ops operating model, establishing standards, governance, and ownership across all AI services. 

  • Own the operational performance of AI products, monitoring usage, adoption, business value, reliability, and service health. 

  • Drive AI cost transparency and optimisation across Azure, Databricks, model inferencing, and supporting platform services. 

  • Govern the end-to-end AI lifecycle, including model onboarding, deployment, monitoring, retraining, version upgrades, and retirement. 

  • Lead AI incident, change, resilience, and responsible AI processes, ensuring production services remain trusted, secure, and compliant.

 

Who you are

 

Your skills and experience will include

  • An experienced technology leader with a proven track record operating AI and machine learning solutions at enterprise scale. 

  • Deeply knowledgeable in AI operations, model lifecycle management, cloud platforms, and modern data ecosystems including Azure and Databricks. 

  • Commercially minded, with strong experience balancing cost, performance, risk, and business value to maximise return on AI investment. 

  • A trusted partner who can influence senior stakeholders and translate complex technical concepts into clear business decisions. 

  • Pragmatic, accountable, and outcome-focused, with a passion for reliability, continuous improvement, and scaling AI safely and sustainably.
