We're looking for an Applied AI Solutions Intern to help accelerate company-wide adoption of our enterprise knowledge and AI platform. In this role, you'll help employees find trusted information faster and get more value from tools like search, agents, and automations.
As a member of the team, you'll balance scalable user enablement with hands-on solution design. Day to day, that means building AI-based tools, supporting users, and helping teams understand when to use search, an agent, or an automation to solve a problem.
Main Responsibilities:
- Serve as a partner for enterprise AI and knowledge platforms across the organization
- Work with technical teams to build and test AI prototypes and agents
- Develop enablement materials, documentation, and best practices
- Support users with search, prompting, agents, and automations, including helping them choose the right approach for the need
- Intake, triage, and shape custom agent and automation requests based on business needs and platform fit
- Partner with PMO to prioritize discovery and solution design efforts
- Translate business needs into technical requirements and scoped solution briefs
- Collaborate with engineering teams to assign and support development resources
- Analyze usage patterns and user behavior to improve enablement strategies, content architecture, and solution design
- Develop a deep understanding of Cirrus Logic’s knowledge architecture across Confluence, Jira, GitHub, SharePoint, and related systems to improve search relevance, content quality, and discoverability
- Partner with system owners to improve content hygiene, metadata standards, permissions models, and governance practices that directly impact AI-driven search effectiveness
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- A passion for AI/ML and a broad understanding of basic AI concepts
- Personal experience using various GenAI platforms, typical limitations and the value of prompt engineering
- Ability to balance enthusiasm for AI with sound judgment, clear communication, and realistic expectation-setting
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Preferred Skills & Experience:
- Experience designing internal productivity agents or AI-enabled workflows
- Working experience with Confluence, Jira, GitHub, and SharePoint
- Comfortable managing a mix of quick support needs and longer-term solution work
- Naturally curious, self-directed, eager to continuously improve processes, and comfortable working through ambiguity
- Familiarity with APIs, automation frameworks, and workflow tools
Candidates for this role must meet U.S. export control eligibility requirements. Due to U.S. export control restrictions and the short duration of this internship, we are unable to sponsor or obtain deemed export licenses for this role.
Cirrus Logic follows a 2+ day in-office work schedule but interns should expect to be in the office more often, up to 5 days per week, based on business needs and team preference. Interns must be based within commutable distance of the work location listed on the job posting, or willing to relocate prior to beginning their internship with Cirrus Logic.
