Join our team as an Alteryx Developer within our Mortgage Backed Securities team in Home Lending, you will be responsible for the allocation and delivery of mortgage-backed securities (MBS), ensuring compliance with investor and regulatory requirements.
As an Alteryx Developer within our Mortgage Backed Securities team in Home Lending, you will be responsible for the allocation and delivery of mortgage-backed securities (MBS), ensuring compliance with investor and regulatory requirements. Your role will encompass promoting end-to-end loan quality, identifying opportunities for operational reengineering, and spearheading citizen developer/automation initiatives to streamline salability processes. You will have the opportunity to shape and enhance our loan quality processes using data transformation tools such as Alteryx, Python, SQL, etc.
Job Responsibilities

  • Performs loan sales operational and control tasks including end to end pooling - allocation, defect identification/remediation, and oversight.
  • Comprehends investor data requirements and accurately cure related loan quality edits efficiently
  • Understands and develops automation solutions for internal operational workflows and build tools which will optimize and reduce manual processes
  • Identifies and leads citizen developer/automation initiatives to benefit streamlined salability processes
  • Creates reporting, interpret results and convey in a concise, straight-forward, and professional manner for all levels of operational staff from supervisors to senior level management
  • Spearheads projects & tasks by ensuring timely completion and articulate any issues and risks to management
  • Ensures the integrity of data through automated extraction, translation, processing, analysis, and reporting


Required Qualifications, Skills and Capabilities

  • Citizen Developer Tool Sets - Advanced knowledge of Alteryx, Tableau, or UIPath
  • Analytical - Independent, logical problem solver with ability to synthesize data, identify trends, and project outcomes.
  • Technical - Expert level PowerPoint and Excel; knowledge of mortgage based operating systems including Black Knight, FHLMC Loan Selling Advisor, FNMA Loan Delivery, GNMA SFPDM
  • Fast Paced Multi-Tasker - Ability to organize and prioritize multiple projects and responsibilities with accuracy, attention to detail and limited supervision with very short turnaround times. Demonstrates ability to react quickly and decisively in high stressed situations.
  • Interpersonal - Strong written and verbal communication skills with ability to influence and work collaboratively with diverse/cross-functional teams. Develop and maintain effective relationships with a wide range of stakeholders.
  • Presentation - Ability to create presentations for all levels of management and effectively report with an executive presence. Experience creating complex reporting with compelling key messages
  • Risk & Controls - Ability to work with audit, compliance and regulatory constituencies to manage work in accordance with established procedures. Demonstrates accountability for work processes and the associated risks and controls. Demonstrates ability to raise issues to relevant stakeholders or management with respect to the control environment
  • Project Management - Ability to lead an initiative, prioritize work and meet deadlines. escalating any issues to management


Preferred Qualifications, Skills and Capabilities

  • Alteryx certification
  • Bachelor's Degree, preferably majored in Finance, Economics, Statistics, Math, Business Administration, or Computer Science
  • At least 3 years of Mortgage Banking experience
