We have an exciting opportunity for a talented Analog Design Engineer to join our growing team in Edinburgh. You will work alongside a team of analog and mixed-signal designers to develop industry-leading mixed-signal SoCs for consumer markets as part of an organization at the forefront of cutting-edge technology. 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work within an experienced design team to develop high-performance mixed-signal products, with a focus on sensor interfaces, data converters, and signal-processing ICs, using power-efficient techniques in advanced process nodes. 
  • Contribute to every phase of the design process, from specification and architecture to transistor-level design, simulation, modeling, layout supervision, verification, and final product delivery. 

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering (or related discipline) 
  • Solid understanding of analog circuit analysis and design techniques 
  • Strong diagnostic and analytical skills 
  • An innovative, creative, lateral thinking problem solver 

Preferred Skills and Qualifications:

  • Master’s, or PhD degree in electrical engineering 
  • Hands-on design experience of analog building blocks such as reference generators, voltage regulators/converters, amplifiers, oscillators, ADC/DACs, and signal conditioning analog front ends 
  • Discrete-time and continuous-time signal processing, sensor interfaces, and wearable health technologies 
  • MOS and semiconductor device physics 
  • Design for test (DFT) and manufacturability, reliability design guidelines, ESD protection, and latch-up testing 
  • Board-level design considerations, including component selection, PCB layout, packaging technologies 
  • High-volume manufacturing processes 

This position is based in our Edinburgh, UK office.
 
It is a hybrid role with the flexibility to work from home, depending on business needs. Candidates must live within a commutable distance or be willing to relocate.
