What Inside Sales contributes to Cardinal Health
Direct Sales is responsible for driving sales and services to new and/or existing customers through face-to-face or telephone contact to meet individual and organizational sales objectives.
Inside Sales is responsible for driving sales and services to new and existing customers. The sales cycles will tend to be simple and short-term in nature and may or may not lead to a long term customer relationship. Can sometimes be viewed as cold calling, telesales.

Job Summary

ParMed Customer Sales Representatives are accountable for driving pharmaceutical generic product sales to an assigned group of Independent Retail pharmacies.  You will create new business partnerships while supporting and strengthening relationships with the current customers.

Responsibilities

  • Develop rapport with pharmaceutical business partners

  • Utilize sales tools to construct a sales pitch and close on sales opportunities

  • Effectively utilize value statements and business questioning to gain customer knowledge

  • Develop and leverage market awareness

  • Collaborate with Inside Sales Representatives to develop and implement selling strategies to achieve budgeted goals

  • Execute on targeted sales campaigns

  • Achieve assigned monthly, quarterly and annual sales metrics

  • Meet monthly productivity expectations

  • Field incoming sales opportunities

  • Adapt daily coverage assignments as needed

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred, but not required

  • 1-2 years proven outside or inside sales experience preferred

  • Strong process management, customer service, and communication skills

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications

  • Self-motivated to achieve goals

  • Spanish/English Bilingual, Required

What is expected of you for success in this role

  • Demonstrate knowledge of Cardinal Health and pharmaceutical industry, including: key competitors, terminology, technology, challenges, reimbursement and demonstrates basic knowledge of customers’ unique business needs related to Cardinal Health offerings; demonstrates working knowledge of how Cardinal Health offerings match with a customers' unique business needs

  • Initiate introductory customer calls with the objective of developing a long-term business relationship

  • Maximize customer relationships through timely routine contact with both new and existing customers

  • Support territory management model by effectively collaborating with assigned territory Sales Representatives

  • Effectively negotiate and collaborate with customers and colleagues to influence support for mutually beneficial outcomes

  • Consult with supervisor or senior peers on complex and unusual problems

Pay rate: $20.00 per hour + incentive plan eligibility
