Hexcel is currently seeking a Assistant Financial Accountant for our Duxford, UK location.
The selected individual will be responsible for but not limited to the following obligations:
- Tracking and reporting of fixed asset for Duxford and Leicester sites
- Understanding and reporting for UK and BE VAT registrations, including intrastat declarations
- Assisting external accountants with preparation of AT and DE VAT information
- Management accounts/budgets for 3 Asia Pacific sales offices
- Assisting with foreign exchange reporting for USD and EUR exposures
- Balance sheet reconciliations
- Organisation of Leicester statutory audit
- Prepare reporting in US GAAP lease accounting for capital and operating leases
- Performing month end tasks
- Provide cover in the finance team based in Duxford and Maintain the financial integrity of the accounting data
Qualifications:
- Educated to graduate level
- Suitable professional qualification or working towards – ACCA/CIMA/ACA
- Willingness to learn new skills
- Excellent communication and team working skills
- Highly motivated
- Comfortable using Microsoft Office, Word, Excel
- High level of Numeracy and Literacy
- Good organizational skills, able to prioritize and meet deadlines
- Knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics AX2012 an advantage
- Fluent English language skills essential
