WHAT YOU’LL DO

As an Associate Creative Director (ACD) specializing in Digital Design, you will play a pivotal role in shaping and leading creative projects across multiple disciplines, with a strong emphasis on visual storytelling.

Reporting to the Creative Director, you will drive the strategic development and execution of high-impact creative work for luxury brands, ensuring excellence across all touchpoints.

Working closely with a multidisciplinary team—including designers, copywriters, strategists, and account managers—you will transform strategic insights into compelling creative solutions. You will oversee and craft creative direction, campaign development, and multi-platform execution while ensuring design excellence at every stage.

As an AI-fluent creative leader, you will champion the integration of generative AI tools into creative workflows, leveraging these technologies to enhance ideation, streamline production, and push creative boundaries while maintaining the highest standards of craft and luxury aesthetics.

Additionally, you will mentor designers, fostering innovation and guiding the team to produce impactful, audience-driven work.

Key responsibilities:

Creative Strategy & Concept Development
  • Translate brand strategy into impactful creative solutions that align with the client’s vision and objectives.
  • Lead creative concept development across various projects, including websites, 360° campaigns, and brand identity.
  • Leverage AI tools (Claude or Gemini) to brainstorm concepts, refine creative briefs, and rapidly iterate on ideas.
  • Create structured decks with mood boards, storyboards, and mockups to support creative vision, utilizing AI tools to accelerate deck drafting and presentation development.
  • Stay on top of emerging creative and design trends to drive innovation, with a particular focus on AI-driven design innovations and their application in luxury contexts.
Design Execution & Oversight
  • Oversee and/or craft  creative execution across various projects, including websites, 360° campaigns, and brand identity ( including logos, typography, color palettes, and brand guidelines), ensuring high-quality output and timely delivery, and consistency and excellence across all touchpoints.
  • Direct the creation of design assets, mockups, and prototypes to bring ideas to life, integrating generative AI tools into the creative process where appropriate.
  • Ensure a high standard of design execution by balancing big-picture creative vision with hands-on implementation, while aligning aesthetics, storytelling, and strategic intent.
  • Guide the team in the effective and ethical use of AI tools, ensuring outputs maintain luxury brand standards and creative excellence.
Collaboration & Leadership
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop integrated creative solutions for luxury brands.
  • Provide clear creative direction and constructive feedback to designers and art directors, fostering their growth and development.
  • Actively mentor junior team members through training, workshops, and ongoing support while promoting effective ways of working within the design teams.
  • Continually improve design culture within the agency (resources, knowledge-sharing, initiatives, and recruiting), championing AI literacy and innovation.
Project & Client Management
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritizing tasks effectively to meet deadlines.
  • Present creative concepts and branding strategies to clients, internal teams, and leadership.
  • Work closely with clients, understanding their needs, challenges, and market context to develop relevant creative solutions.
  • Foster strong relationships with key stakeholders, acting as a trusted creative advisor.

WHAT YOU WILL NEED TO BE GREAT IN THIS ROLE

  • 8+ years of experience in design, branding or art direction  within an agency environment.
  • Strong portfolio demonstrating:
    • A compelling creative vision through brand storytelling and concept development for digital experiences (360° campaigns, websites, digital identity)
    • Hands-on craft skills across layout, typography, and photo & video art direction
  • Branding experience / work is a plus.
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite and Figma.

  • Advanced proficiency in generative and conversational AI tools (Claude, Gemini, etc.), with a demonstrated track record of integrating them into professional creative workflows — from brainstorming and brief refinement to production and problem-solving.
  • Passionate curiosity about emerging AI technologies and their creative applications, with a commitment to continuous learning and experimentation.
