Primary Responsibilities:
- Understand and interpret key drivers of health care trends
- Conduct and evaluate studies on pricing, utilization and health care costs and manage the development of pricing methodologies and assumptions
- Mentor and develop your elite team of actuaries and help them create unique solutions to complex problems
- Design and run complex data programs to perform mathematical analyses and actuarial modeling
- Analyze forecasts and trends and translate highly complex concepts in ways that can be understood by a variety of audiences including senior leaders
- The challenges here are significant. You'll be part of an intensely driven and focused team that is accountable for constantly improving business results. You'll be a trusted subject matter expert who's called on to incorporate traditional actuarial expertise into novel, cutting edge actuarial solutions

Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
- ASA (Associate of the Society of Actuaries) or FSA (Fellow of the Society of Actuaries) designation
- Proven extensive actuarial experience including supervisory experience
Preferred Qualifications:
- Proven experience working in finance or the health care industry
- At least a basic level of proficiency with SAS (Statistical Analysis System) and/or SQL (Structured Query Language)
Soft Skills:
- Demonstrated ability to solve complex technical problems with a hands-on approach
- Demonstrated communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to diverse audiences and influence decision-making
- Leadership in collaborative, cross-functional settings, including mentoring and setting technical direction
