Team Overview:

The Platform Client Engagement (PCE) Team is a critical function within the Aladdin Engineering Platform Product Office and is responsible for delivering technology to our Aladdin Clients, driving initiatives such as creating new environments, offering business development support, and managing projects driven by the technology needs of clients. This team is a core part of building the Aladdin estate, driving new revenue and creating scale for our clients.  

PCE is a fast-paced team operating in a dynamic environment and provides the right individual with challenging work and an opportunity to lead cross functional groups in achieving a wide variety of objectives. 

 

Job Purpose / Responsibilities: 

The successful candidate will work across the pillars within PCE fostering robust relationships with a diverse range of internal and external teams to provide connectivity solutions and new client environments. This role demands a technically adept individual with outstanding communication and organizational abilities, capable of engaging with various levels of technical expertise across teams from business to infrastructure engineering.  

 

  • Manage ongoing client connectivity support and maintenance. 

  • Coordinate the technical build and Add-On components for new Aladdin clients. 

  • Coordinate technical private connectivity infrastructure projects for Aladdin clients, both new and existing. 

  • Contribute to the creation and upkeep of comprehensive documentation. 

  • Undertake additional technical tasks to support the Aladdin business.  

 

Additional Opportunities 

 

Due to the dynamic nature of the environment, PCE provides the opportunity for team members to participate across several functions, including Disaster Recovery planning for Aladdin, working with development teams on enhancements to operational tools, as well as opportunities to take ownership of various initiatives. 

 

Qualifications: 

A successful candidate is expected to possess and demonstrate the following: 

 

Essential Skills: 

  • Proficiency in networking concepts (DNS, Subnetting, IP). 

  • Proven experience in coordinating the deployment of enterprise networking technologies (VPN/IPSEC, MPLS, etc.). 

  • Aptitude for technical troubleshooting across desktop technologies and fundamental TCP/IP networking. 

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. 

  • Self-driven with a strong sense of initiative and teamwork. 

  • Competence in prioritizing and resolving high-stakes conflicting demands. 

  • A results-driven professional dedicated to achieving objectives with a proactive approach. 

  • A minimum of 2 years in roles such as technical support engineer, desktop support engineer, IT help desk, or similar.  

 

Desirable Skills: 

  • Scripting or rudimentary programming skills for task automation. 
  • A degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field. 
  • Familiarity with cloud technologies like AWS or Azure. 
  • Exceptional technical writing capabilities or prior experience in documentation. 
  • Familiarity with Unix-like O.S. such as Linux.
