The Opportunity
This opportunity is best suited for candidates in their final year of study.
The Commodities segment of Woodmac is a leader in shaping the global energy markets, covering many of the essential energy sources that will power our planet in the future.
Within Engineering we take huge amounts data from every energy asset or market across the world, combining this with the unique insights of our expert researchers to provide an intuitive product platform relied upon by major global energy providers and the financial investors that shape the future of energy.
We do this in our strategic flagship product called Lens.
The Role:
This role will provide many opportunities to work with experts in software and data engineering who are building, releasing and supporting the strategic Lens product suite for Woodmac.
In addition to becoming a key developer of a global market leading product, you will be part of our evolution incorporating AI, helping us shape the ways of working in future utilising more innovative AI powered products and services.
You will be part of a local team as well as our global community, working with great colleagues in different parts of the world each day, embracing cultural differences and aiming to succeed together.
You will utilise your strong software skills to help enhance and evolve the strategic product suite working across all aspects of the Agile development cycle to ensure solid foundations in your new career.
Our Requirements
Bachelor’s/Honours degree or professional qualification with a software, data, AI or technology focus.
Wood Mackenzie follows a hybrid work structure, the successful candidate will be expected to be in the office regularly to benefit from the in person support of their team and wider colleagues.
