Job responsibilities
- Develop and execute comprehensive project plans, incorporating technical requirements, resource allocation, and timelines to ensure the timely and successful delivery of technology projects and programs.
- Analyse and break down complex business, technical, and operational objectives into manageable tasks and activities, applying critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Identify and mitigate project risks, proactively addressing potential roadblocks and implementing risk management strategies to minimize impact on project or program outcomes.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including technology infrastructure product groups, location support, architects, and business stakeholders, to define project scope, objectives, and deliverables, ensuring alignment with business goals.
- Monitor project progress, adjusting plans and schedules as needed, and providing regular status updates to stakeholders, ensuring transparency and effective communication throughout the project or program lifecycle.
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- Equivalent expertise in technical program management, leading complex technology projects and programs in a large organization
- Proactive, self-accountable, works well with teams and independently, adaptable and quick to adjust to change, with a strong risk and controls mindset.
- Excellent communication skills (both oral and written), with the ability to create and deliver executive summaries and presentations.
- Strong technical fluency, with familiarity in current and relevant infrastructure platforms and technologies (compute, network, storage, and/or runtime products).
- Proven track record of effectively managing resources, budgets, and high-performing teams in a fast-paced, agile environment.
- Demonstrated proficiency in applying analytical reasoning and problem-solving techniques to break down objectives into manageable tasks and activities.
Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- Formal training/certification in program and project management
- Cloud platform knowledge, which helps in making informed decisions about cloud services and architecture
- Good working knowledge in data analytics/data visualization and/or intelligent automation
