Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, enhance, and maintain robust, scalable, and reusable automation test frameworks using Selenium (WebDriver).
- Design and execute automated test scripts for web applications, APIs, and mobile platforms.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (developers, product managers, and QA) to understand requirements, define test strategies, and ensure comprehensive coverage.
- Perform functional, regression, integration, and end-to-end testing using automation tools.
- Analyze test results, track defects, and ensure their resolution.
- Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines for continuous testing.
- Identify and implement best practices for test automation to improve efficiency and quality.
- Generate detailed test reports and provide regular updates on testing progress and results.
- Stay updated with the latest trends, tools, and technologies in test automation and recommend improvements.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- 4-8 years of hands-on experience in Selenium WebDriver for test automation.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, Python, or C# for developing automation scripts.
- Strong understanding of testing methodologies (Agile, Scrum, etc.), SDLC, and STLC.
- Experience with automation frameworks like TestNG, JUnit, or Cucumber.
- Knowledge of build tools like Maven or Gradle.
- Hands-on experience with version control tools like Git.
- Experience in API testing using tools like Postman, RestAssured, or similar.
- Familiarity with CI/CD tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, or Azure DevOps.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills to collaborate effectively with teams.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience in mobile automation using tools like Appium.
- Knowledge of cloud-based testing platforms like BrowserStack, Sauce Labs, etc.
- Familiarity with performance testing tools (JMeter, LoadRunner) is a plus.
- ISTQB or similar testing certification is an advantage.
