As an experienced Azure DevOps / Platform Engineer, you’ll play a key role in supporting the development of the next generation of farming software—driving innovation in animal welfare and environmental sustainability. Responsibilities / Tasks

  • CI/CD Pipeline Development: Build and maintain automated pipelines for application and infrastructure deployments using Azure DevOps and GitHub

  • Infrastructure as Code: Implement and manage cloud resources using Terraform and Helm templates

  • Cloud Platform Management: Administer and optimize Azure services including AKS, Storage, Networking, and Virtual Machines.

  • Monitoring & Observability: Configure monitoring, logging, and alerting with Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, and Application Insights.

  • Security & Compliance: Apply security best practices (RBAC, Key Vault, Managed Identities) and ensure compliance with organizational standards.

  • Containerization & Orchestration: Deploy and manage containerized workloads using Docker and Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS).

  • Version Control & Collaboration: Manage Git repositories, enforce branching strategies, and integrate automated testing.

  • Incident Response: Troubleshoot and resolve issues in pipelines, deployments, and cloud infrastructure.

Your Profile / Qualifications

  • Strong experience with Azure DevOps or GitHub, CI/CD pipelines, and Infrastructure as Code.

  • Proficiency in Azure services, Terraform, and container orchestration (AKS)

  • Familiarity with monitoring tools and security principles in cloud environments.

  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.

Preferable Qualifications

  • Experience with Helm or advanced Kubernetes concepts. Certifications such as Microsoft Certified: Azure DevOps Engineer Expert or Azure Solutions Architect.

  • This role is based in Belfast and operates on a hybrid working model. Please note that we are unable to offer sponsorship for this position.
