Role Description
As a Product Engineer at Dropbox for the Core Expansion team, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of collaboration and file sharing. Your responsibilities will revolve around developing and enhancing our suite of Dropbox Products to deliver exceptional user experiences. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, turning innovative ideas into robust, scalable, and user-friendly features.

Requirements
- 5+ years of software engineering or related industry experience
- BS degree in Computer Science or related technical field involving coding (e.g., physics or mathematics), or equivalent technical experience
- Proven track record in identifying and delivering software solutions through a set of milestones spanning a specific product focus or a multi-component system
- Developed and shipped large-scale web applications with a user-centric mindset
- Proficiency in building user-facing software and supporting systems and libraries for web and/or desktop platforms
Preferred Qualifications
- Full-Stack Development
- Prior experience with some of the following technologies: Python, AWS, Linux, distributed messaging, SQL/database optimization, Doctrine caching, OpenSearch/Elasticsearch, Kibana, Grafana, Sentry, Selenium/Playwright
Compensation
Dropbox applies increased tax deductible costs (50%) to remuneration earned by certain qualifying employees (to the extent an employee will be involved in the creation of the software as an “author”) for the transfer of copyrights, in accordance with the relevant provisions of the Personal Income Tax Act.
