About the Role


As a Blockchain Security Researcher at Tenderly, you will play a key role in safeguarding decentralized applications and protocols, focusing on building secure solutions that protect end-users. Your work will directly impact the integrity and security of the Web3 ecosystem, ensuring decentralized applications run safely while preserving user trust. Collaborating with top engineers and security experts, you'll tackle emerging threats head-on and build innovative solutions that give developers and users peace of mind.


What You’ll Do


- Hunt for Vulnerabilities – Analyze attack vectors and smart contract weaknesses, designing security strategies that fortify blockchain protocols and protect the users who rely on them.

- Build Cutting-Edge Security Tools – Contribute to developing automated vulnerability scanners, security simulators and testing tools, that empower developers and researchers to proactively defend against threats.

- Embed Security into Every Stage – Work closely with product, engineering, and security teams to integrate security best practices throughout the development lifecycle, driving user-first security decisions.

- Stay Ahead of the Curve – Monitor the latest blockchain exploits, hacks, and vulnerabilities, proactively addressing emerging threats to keep decentralized applications secure.

- Educate & Elevate the Ecosystem – Produce detailed documentation on security vulnerabilities, mitigation techniques, and user protection best practices. Share insights with the broader community and help teams turn research into real-world security solutions.


About you


- Deep Expertise in EVM & Blockchain Security – Strong understanding of EVM-based ecosystems, blockchain architecture, and security principles.

- Proven Track Record in Smart Contract Auditing – Hands-on experience identifying vulnerabilities in smart contracts and decentralized systems.

- Mastery of Web3 Security Tools & Techniques – Skilled in fuzzing, invariant testing, formal verification, and other advanced security methodologies. Hands-on experience with Golang is an advantage.

- Fluent in Blockchain Programming – Proficient in Solidity. Strong understanding of best practices for writing secure smart contracts.

- Security-First Mindset – Sharp critical thinking skills to tackle complex security challenges. Experience designing innovative security solutions is a plus.

- Strong Communicator & Team Player – Capable of explaining complex concepts clearly and collaborating across engineering, product, and security teams.
