We are currently seeking a talented and dedicated individual to join our Ericsson's recognized best-in-class RAN team as a BO Access Engineer. In this role you'll maintain and improve mobile network performance and you will work in a supportive and collaborative environment that focuses on innovation and learning.
What you will do
- Operate and maintain the radio access network and transport elements to ensure reliable service.
- Configure and deploy RAN and transport change requests and support validation and rollback as needed.
- Monitor 2G/LTE/5G performance and resolve hardware or configuration issues within agreed timelines.
- Support large-node acceptance activities and perform periodic audits of key configurations and licensing.
- Work end-to-end with customer support and cross-functional teams on customer service requests and incident resolution.
- Recommend and help implement process improvements and automation to reduce manual work and improve response times.
What you will bring
- BSc in Telecommunications, Computer Science, or equivalent.
- 5+ years of experience
- Solid knowledge of 2G/LTE/5G network architecture and RAN technologies.
- Good command of English (written and spoken) and proficiency with Microsoft tools (Excel, Word, Outlook).
- Experience in RAN operation environments on Nokia nodes is a plus.
- Experience in Huawei and Ericsson RAN HWs is a plus.
- Familiarity with virtualization concept.
- Experience with any programming or scripting language is a plus (Python preferred).
- Strong problem-solving, communication, teamwork and customer-focused mindset; able to work under pressure and drive continuous improvement.
- Willingness to work on a shift basis
