Wood Mackenzie’s Brand Team are focused on positioning our brand for success, ensuring awareness and recognition of who we are, what we cover, and most importantly why we exist. Through our visual brand and brand narrative we’re story tellers that underpin our wider marketing activity. Working with functional teams worldwide, the Brand team is a partner helping to build reputation across a broad audience. We work closely with the Creative team to ensure the brand is correctly represented across our portfolio of activity.

Role Purpose

Wood Mackenzie has an exciting, newly created role opportunity for a Brand Campaign Marketing Manager to join a fast-paced, dynamic, global Marketing team to drive change and innovation. We are looking for a proactive individual to apply their marketing expertise to embed a new brand vision and positioning, whilst supporting the reputation and campaign needs of the business.

The role will report directly to the Director of Brand & Creative, and work closely with a small established brand team, and an international multi-functional Marketing team to achieve goals. This role will be responsible for creating and implementing the marketing strategy and tactical plans for specific cross-segment audiences. The focus will be on building brand awareness and creating multi-channel engagement programs. Previous campaign marketing experience is required. The successful applicant needs to be able to balance multiple projects at once and to work well under pressure and often to tight deadlines following a robust set of corporate guidelines.

Main Responsibilities

  • Create, execute and enhance multi-channel brand marketing campaigns, for specific target audiences, to increase brand awareness
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to develop targeted brand awareness campaigns, using the full marketing channel mix and MarTech stack in execution to feed the top of the marketing funnel and our demand gen activity
  • Utilise and maintain the brand strategy to support activity across the Marketing function, to help reposition Wood Mackenzie in the changing markets
  • Use customer insights and market data to inform strategy and planning
  • Continuously analyse and evaluate throughout campaign lifecycles, to improve campaign performance, to deliver on KPIs and achieve growth targets
  • Manage a budget to ensure strong ROI
  • Identify and test new channels, messaging strategies, and creative assets to continuously improve campaign effectiveness
  • Deliver regular performance reports, leveraging marketing analytics for insights and recommendations for ongoing enhancements
  • Act as a brand guardian to monitor and ensure consistency and compliance across the brand portfolio

Qualifications

Knowledge & Experience:

  • Proven (brand) campaign management experience
  • Previous B2B marketing experience
  • Proven track record of delivering to plan and budget and exceeding goals
  • Experienced MarTech user (preferably Asana, Pardot, and Salesforce)
  • Sound knowledge and experience of digital marketing practices and channels (e.g. Google Analytics, SEO, PPC and social media)
  • The ability to write engaging and effective marketing copy across a range of channels, including email, social media, and website
  • Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate others and build effective partnerships
  • Excellent organisational skills with attention to detail, deadlines, and brand integrity
  • Able to work to tight deadlines and multitask. WoodMac is a fast-paced environment so being able to stay focussed and prioritise efficiently is crucial
  • Analytical mindset with a creative and innovative approach to problem-solving
  • Creative thinker who is passionate about delivering outstanding experiences
  • Results-driven, always looking for ways to optimise our activity
  • Keeps up to date with current trends within marketing and looks for ways to upskill

Desirables:

  • A strong understanding of the B2B buyer journey and buying behaviours and how that links to brand campaigns
  • Experience in paid and organic social media, particularly LinkedIn
  • Knowledge of the energy, renewables, and/or commodity markets is a distinct advantage, but not essential
