ROLE OVERVIEW: 

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Business Analyst with expertise in Credit Counterparty Risk to join our dynamic team in the banking sector. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in analyzing, assessing, and mitigating credit counterparty risks, ensuring the bank's financial stability and compliance with regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough analysis of credit counterparty risk exposures and develop risk mitigation strategies.
  • Collaborate with various departments to gather and analyze data related to credit risk.
  • Monitor and report on credit counterparty risk metrics and trends.
  • Develop and maintain risk models and frameworks to assess credit counterparty risk.
  • Prepare detailed risk assessment reports and presentations for senior management.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal risk policies.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of risk management policies and procedures.
  • Provide insights and recommendations to improve risk management practices.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in credit counterparty risk management.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as a Business Analyst in the banking sector, with a focus on credit counterparty risk.
  • Strong analytical skills and proficiency in risk assessment methodologies.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Proficiency in risk management software and tools.
  • Knowledge of regulatory requirements related to credit risk.
  • Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving abilities.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with data analysis and statistical modeling.
  • Familiarity with financial instruments and markets.
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel and other data analysis tools.
  • Certification in risk management (e.g., FRM, PRM) is a plus.
