About the Role:

We are seeking a highly analytical and detail-oriented Business Analyst with deep experience in payments, particularly in credit card products and processing. This role will support the development and enhancement of innovative payment solutions, working closely with product managers, technology teams, and external partners to deliver best-in-class customer experiences.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with product managers to define and refine product requirements for credit card and payment solutions.
  • Analyze business processes, customer journeys, and transaction data to identify opportunities for innovation and optimization.
  • Translate business needs into detailed functional and non-functional requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
  • Support the end-to-end lifecycle of credit card products, including onboarding, authorization, clearing, settlement, and dispute management.
  • Conduct market and competitor analysis to inform product strategy and positioning.
  • Work with cross-functional teams (engineering, compliance, operations, finance) to ensure alignment and successful delivery.
  • Assist in UAT planning and execution, ensuring solutions meet business and regulatory requirements.
  • Monitor KPIs and performance metrics post-launch to assess impact and identify areas for improvement.

Required Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst in the payments industry, with a strong focus on credit card products.
  • Solid understanding of card scheme operations (Visa, Mastercard, etc.), issuer/acquirer models, and payment processing flows.
  • Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with proficiency in tools like Excel, SQL, or BI platforms.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to translate complex concepts into clear, actionable insights.
  • Familiarity with regulatory and compliance considerations in the payments space (e.g., PSD2, PCI DSS).

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with digital wallets, tokenization, or embedded finance.
  • Knowledge of APIs and integration with third-party payment providers.
  • Background in launching or supporting innovative card-based products or loyalty programs.
