Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Business Analyst to join our dynamic product team in Edinburgh, United Kingdom. As a key member of our organization, you will play a crucial role in bridging the gap between business needs and technology solutions, driving product innovation and improvement.

  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather, analyze, and document business requirements for product development initiatives
  • Conduct in-depth data analysis to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities for product enhancement
  • Create detailed functional specifications, user stories, and process flows to guide development efforts
  • Facilitate workshops and meetings to elicit requirements and ensure alignment among cross-functional teams
  • Develop and maintain product roadmaps, prioritizing features based on business value and user needs
  • Perform market research and competitive analysis to inform product strategy
  • Create and maintain documentation for business processes, system requirements, and product features
  • Act as a liaison between the product team, development team, and other stakeholders to ensure effective communication and project success

Qualifications

  • Proven experience as a Business Analyst, preferably in product development
  • Strong proficiency in data analysis and visualization tools (e.g., Excel, Tableau, Power BI)
  • Experience with business process modeling and requirements gathering techniques
  • Solid understanding of SQL and database concepts
  • Familiarity with project management tools (e.g., JIRA, Trello)
  • Experience working in Agile environments
  • In-depth understanding of the product development lifecycle
  • Knowledge of market trends and competitive landscape in the industry
  • CBAP (Certified Business Analysis Professional) certification is preferred

It would be a real bonus if you have: 

  • Experience in working with Agile methodologies.
  • Other European languages are a plus.
  • ACCP certification.
