Role Description:

As a Business Analyst at Capco, you will work with leading banking clients on Core Banking transformation and evolution initiatives. You will collaborate closely with Business stakeholders, IT teams, and external vendors within complex project environments.

You will be responsible for gathering and analyzing business and functional requirements, producing structured functional documentation, supporting IT solution design, and contributing to system implementation, migration, and enhancement initiatives across Core Banking platforms.

As part of the consulting team, the Business Analyst will:

  • Gather and analyze business and functional requirements related to Core Banking systems and general banking processes.
  • Produce structured functional documentation (BRD, FRD, Use Cases, User Stories).
  • Translate business needs into clear functional specifications for IT teams.
  • Support the definition and assessment of IT solutions within Core Banking initiatives.
  • Interface with Business stakeholders, IT teams, and third-party vendors to ensure alignment and delivery.
  • Perform functional impact analysis and manage change requests.
  • Support testing phases (SIT, UAT), including preparation of test cases and validation activities.
  • Participate in project workshops and meetings, including sessions conducted in English.

Skills and Experience

To qualify for the role you must have:

  • 3 years minimum experience in working as a Business Analyst for previous Banking and Consultancy experience
  • Understanding of business process redesign concepts and process improvement techniques
  • Proven experience in IT projects (system implementations, migrations, and enhancements)
  • Strong knowledge of core banking processes (current accounts, payments, lending, customer master data, etc.
  • Ability to translate business requirements into detailed functional specifications and experience producing structured functional documentation (BRD, FRD, test cases)
  • Knowledge of project delivery methodologies (Waterfall and/or Agile)
  • Proven stakeholder management skills, including the ability to engage with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • Effective and flexible communication skills with the ability to communicate to a variety of audiences across business function and level and tailor messages appropriately
  • Ability to work autonomously and manage activities independently
  • Fluent English (both written and spoken) and native speaker level of Italian

  • Bachelor’s degree in economics or management engineering

Pay Transparency

Capco is committed to providing fair and equitable compensation to our people. Our compensation policies are designed to allow our people to progress through our defined salary range over time as they progress in their role.

The minimum gross annual base salary for this position is from €29.000. The final offer could be higher to reflect the candidate’s experience, skills, and overall fit for the role. Additionally, this position may also be eligible to receive a discretionary/variable bonus payment.

Office location: Piazza Gae Aulenti 1, Milano (Garibaldi FS/ MM Garibaldi). Two days per week on site in a flexible environment that values remote working.
