We’re looking for you if:

  • strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to collaborate across different functions, including Service Owners, Risk, and CoE Sourcing,
  • deep understanding of outsourcing governance and regulatory requirements, particularly in the financial sector,
  • analytical and structured approach, with the ability to assess sourcing risks and provide clear recommendations,
  • proactive and hands-on mentality, with a focus on delivering high-quality outcomes,
  • ability to simplify complex topics, making (sourcing) frameworks and processes accessible to stakeholders across ING,
  • a continuous improvement mindset, eager to enhance sourcing processes and knowledge-sharing across the bank.

Your responsibilities:

  • provide expert guidance on sourcing governance, outsourcing risk assessments, and regulatory requirements,
  • support ING entities in delivering high-quality sourcing documentation, ensuring compliance and consistency,
  • enhance governance and knowledge-sharing across sourcing stakeholders by developing clear guidance and best practices,
  • collaborate with Transition Managers to ensure effective knowledge transfer, risk mitigation, and alignment with sourcing frameworks,
  • monitor and assess sourcing performance, identifying areas for improvement and ensuring adherence to ING’s sourcing policies,
  • contribute to training and capability-building initiatives to enhance sourcing expertise across ING.

You will get extra points for:

  • 3+ years of experience in risk management, sourcing, outsourcing governance, vendor management, or regulatory compliance,
  • knowledge of ECB outsourcing regulations and ING’s Intragroup Sourcing frameworks is an advantage,
  • experience working in an international, cross-functional environment,
  • fluent in English (both written and verbal); additional languages are a plus.

Information about the squad: 

You will join ING Hubs PL COO organisation as BCO Sourcing Expert. You will be part of a newly established team that provides expert guidance and support on key sourcing deliverables, including the Decision Tree, Strategic Service Review, and Sourcing RCSA. You will work closely with NL and Hubs based central functions: Service Owners, Transition Managers, Risk Teams, and the Centre of Expertise (CoE) Sourcing & Shared Services to ensure that sourcing initiatives are aligned, compliant, and effectively executed.

The role naming convention in the global ING job architecture will be “Business Control Specialist III”.
