Position Summary:
Business Development Reps (BDRs) at HiBob play an important part in the growth of our organisation as we expand and scale. Through collaboration with our marketing team to execute campaigns, our team build the top end of our revenue funnel by prospecting and communicating with potential customers everyday. You'll see those prospects move through the customer journey and celebrate each success along the way with our global team.
About you:
We're looking for a coachable individual seeking an opportunity that will give professional growth in sales in a scaling organisation. You'll have the freedom to think outside the box so you'll need to be self-dependent and really organised. If you consider yourself to be curious, creative and bold, as well as a natural people-person who's great at building rapport, we would love to hear from you!
No direct tech sales experience is required, if you have the qualities we're looking for, the transferable skills and the drive and determination to grow and learn, we would love to hear from you.
Job Requirements
Requirements are often considered a measure of how equipped you are to do the job, but sometimes, they aren't the only factor. If you don't have nearly enough experience, or not all the skills, we'd still like to hear from you. This could be the perfect fit for you and us.
You'll be great for this role if you have:
  • The goal of launching a successful B2B tech sales career
  • Fluency in English & German language (minimum C1)
  • Desire to work in a fast-paced, hyper-growth start-up working environment
  • Strong work ethic, integrity and desire to succeed, both individually and as part of your team
  • Passionate about people and building relationships
  • Enthusiastic, reliable self-starter with strong organisational skills

Job Responsibilities
  • Territory development: Prospect, identify, initiate, develop and nurture business relationships and opportunities in market/target accounts to generate new business opportunities
  • Perform outbound calls and engage in other forms of communication (i.e. email, live events etc.) to prospect new opportunities
  • Identify key decision-makers, determine buying readiness and timelines
  • Create account maps and strategies - ensure quality and well-researched opportunities.
  • Strategise with account executives on approach and traction to new business opportunities
  • Capture and manage information/data/metrics in Salesforce
  • Provide feedback to marketing on what conversations/content work well and what isn't working, seeking continuous improvement
