Role Overview  

We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Head of Business Development & Partnerships to spearhead our growth initiatives at People and Partners Group, a leading HR and Recruitment Consultancy. The ideal candidate will be a strategic thinker with a proven track record in B2B sales, capable of building a robust pipeline and securing strategic partnerships. You will be responsible for driving revenue growth by onboarding a minimum of five new clients per month through strategic business development, partnership formation, and sponsorship acquisition. This role requires an individual with an existing sales funnel and a strong network in the HR, recruitment, or corporate services space.

Key Responsibilities 

Business Development & Client Acquisition:  

  • Identify, target, and secure new client opportunities within the HR and recruitment consultancy space.

  • Achieve and exceed monthly target of onboarding new clients.

  • Develop and execute strategic sales plans to penetrate new markets and industries.

  • Leverage an existing sales funnel to accelerate growth and meet quarterly revenue targets. 

Strategic Partnerships & Sponsorships:  

  • Form and nurture strategic alliances with industry associations, corporate partners, event organizers, and complementary service providers.

  • Secure sponsorships for company events, webinars, and industry conferences to enhance brand visibility and lead generation.

  • Collaborate with marketing to co-create partnership campaigns that drive mutual growth.

Pipeline Management & Sales Strategy:  

  • Maintain and expand a healthy sales pipeline with a focus on high-value clients and long-term partnerships.

  • Utilize CRM tools to track leads, client interactions, and conversion metrics.

  • Conduct market research to identify emerging trends, competitive threats, and new business opportunities.

Client Relationship Management:  

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers, including HR Directors, Talent Acquisition Heads, and C-suite executives.

  • Ensure a smooth handover of new clients to the account management or delivery team.

  • Gather client feedback to refine service offerings continuously and improve customer satisfaction.

Reporting & Performance Analysis:  

  • Provide regular reports on business development activities, pipeline status, and revenue forecasts.

  • Analyze sales data to identify areas for improvement and optimize the sales process.

  • Collaborate with leadership to align business development strategies with company goals.



Requirements


  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in business development, sales, or strategic partnerships, preferably within HR, recruitment, consulting, or B2B services.

  • Proven ability to onboard 5+ new clients per month and manage a consistent sales funnel.

  • Demonstrated success in forming strategic partnerships and securing sponsorships.

  • Strong network of contacts within HR, corporate services, or related industries.

  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.

  • Proficiency in CRM software (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) and sales analytics tools.

  • Self-motivated, target-driven, and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field (preferred).
