Job Description
BI Analyst
Position Summary:
The Business Intelligence (BI) Analyst is responsible for designing, building, delivering, and maintaining world-class reporting for all areas of the business using Power BI. This role involves modeling data, designing and building reports, dashboards, and analysis using tools like Power BI, Data Flows, and in some cases SQL Server or Azure Analysis Services to create custom visualizations and dashboards.
You will report to the Customer Experience Analytics Manager and will be hybrid in Katowice.
Your Responsibilities:- Develop conceptual, logical, and physical data models.
- Participate in business and executive meetings to gather requirements and make recommendations for reporting/BI solutions.
- Translate business needs into high-level technical specifications and design.
- Develop an understanding of various business processes, data sets, and BI deliverables.
- Use knowledge of specific data available, forecasting or analysis methods, and visualization capabilities to enhance requirements and provide insightful suggestions to business stakeholders.
- Prep, ingest, cleanse, and maintain data in the data warehouse for efficient delivery to Power BI.
- Prioritize, deliver, and maintain all Power BI reporting projects companywide.
- Support the daily support of end-users' ability to effectively and efficiently utilize the reporting platform.
- Work closely with the Enterprise Analytics team to stay up-to-date with enterprise guidelines and standards.
- Critically evaluate information gathered from multiple sources, reconcile and identify gaps, uncover unmet business needs, and work with data engineering and solution architects to create a finished solution.
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, business management, or a related field.
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience in business analytics or business intelligence.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills in English.
- General knowledge of Recurring Revenue (ARR) and Customer Success.
- Working knowledge of BI and data warehouse concepts and terminology.
- Experience building complex reports in Power BI, Tableau, or similar platforms.
- Experience with analytical programming languages such as SQL, Python, or R.
- Proficiency with O365 Applications including Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel.
- Capable of prioritizing multiple projects while still achieving deadlines.
- Detail-oriented person who is passionate about quality and enthusiastic about new technology.
