JOB DESCRIPTION
As a Business Management Summer Associate at Startup Camp, you will be at the forefront of driving a startup from concept to market success, with a focus on delivering something truly groundbreaking. While the team relentlessly pursues a bold vision of a future with your product, you will lead efforts to ensure that this vision becomes a sustainable and profitable reality. You will achieve this by developing strategies and taking ownership of the business model, go-to-market plans, and the key drivers of growth, including revenue generation, sales, marketing, and operations.
Your focus will be on creating a business that generates revenue in ways no one has seen before. You will chase untapped opportunities, craft strategies to break into new markets, and push boundaries to position the startup for explosive growth. With your leadership, the startup will exceed expectations, challenge conventions, and, ultimately, disrupt the status quo.
You will:

  • Develop and own the business model, ensuring scalability and profitability.
  • Craft and execute go-to-market strategies that maximize market penetration and impact.
  • Identify and pursue untapped market opportunities, driving the creation of new revenue streams.
  • Lead efforts in business development, including partnerships, sales strategies, and customer acquisition.
  • Conduct market research and competitive analysis to anticipate trends and emerging opportunities.
  • Collaborate with the team to align business objectives with product and user goals.
  • Drive marketing initiatives that amplify the startup's visibility and customer engagement.
  • Oversee operational processes, ensuring efficiency and readiness for rapid growth.
  • Track key performance indicators (KPIs) and provide insights to guide strategic decisions.
  • Advocate for sustainable and innovative approaches to achieving the startup's mission.
  • Continuously identify, assess, and manage risks to ensure business resilience and long-term success.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Currently pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor's or advanced degree from a top-tier university/college, or able to demonstrate significant professional work experience.
  • An entrepreneurial work style, you're a self-starter with a bias toward action.
  • You've run your own business be it a lemonade stand, some side-hustles, or even your own startup.
  • Excellent organizational skills.
  • You're open minded. You know what you don't know. You're a lifelong learner.
  • Comfortable in a fast-paced and dynamic work environment.
  • Great interpersonal and communication skills.
  • You must be fully available-in London-from 23 June 2025 through 19 September 2025.

  • Opportunities for travel
  • Social and team-building events
  • Professional development through mentors, training, and networking
