We’re seeking a Senior Director Business Manager to join our stellar team.

You would be responsible for providing operational support for the Platform Engineering organization within Global Engineering.

As a business manager, you play an important role in the execution of the organizational strategy and drive towards success. The role is responsible for leading efforts across the entire operating model including financial management, resource management, project management, risk management and communications for the CTO of the organization.

This role is within the Business Office of Global Engineering with close alignment to the Platform Engineering Executive and their leadership team.

Job Responsibilities

  • Demonstrate flexibility and willingness to perform a variety of duties based on the needs of the Platform Engineering leadership team and the goals of the Global Engineering organization overall.
  • Collaborate with the leadership team to establish and improve the operating model including process improvement, management of priorities, key measurements, and governance.
  • Analyze key business data and metrics to help drive priorities and execution of the strategic roadmap
  • Support financial and resource management in partnership with the Finance and HR teams
  • Coordinate key leadership meetings including logistics, attendees, agendas, note taking and follow-up actions
  • Provide analysis on key focus areas for the CTO to prepare for monthly business reviews with the CTO of Global Engineering
  • Execute on the Communications Strategy for the organization and support efforts across all of Global Engineering

Required Skills

  • Minimum of 4+ years experience in business management, finance, operations or project management
  • Highly organized with an ability to manage to tight delivery timelines and ensure the organization is on track to deliver key priorities
  • Ability to communicate both verbally and written and strong listening skills, question and articulate complex issues in a concise way
  • Ability to quickly develop effective trust-based relationships, working closely with cross functional stakeholders in Finance, HR and Risk Management
  • Outstanding analytical and problem-solving skills; strong relationship management skills; results driven.
  • Proficient and effective in the Microsoft Office tools (Excel, Powerpoint, Word)
  • Knowledge of PowerBI programming is a plus
  • Experience working in a technology organization is a plus
