General Summary:
The Global Card Program Specialist will deliver operational support to the Global Card & Expense Team with a focus on enhancing & optimizing card processes and enabling geographic expansion. The ideal candidate demonstrates proactivity, critical thinking, a detail-oriented mindset, financial acumen, strong sense of collaboration, and a global mindset.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support day-to-day Card Program operations in International regions including issuing new cards, managing credit limits, processing card terminations, and addressing user inquiries.
- Guide employees with inquiries related to their corporate cards, conduct card application review, and provide guidance and support to employees on credit card usage, policies, and procedures.
- Facilitate payment allocation process & tracking in partnership with Accounts Payable.
- Coordinate & execute program improvements and implementation projects.
- Perform ongoing reporting and review of spend to identify trends and compliance with policies, procedures, and appropriate buying channels.
- Manage reconciliation & monitors compliance & delinquencies for all Corporate T&E Cards in International, and P-card & Meeting Cards, globally.
- Drive development of SOPs, job aides, training materials, and conduct live user trainings to support card program operations and reconciliation process to enhance compliance to policy.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including IT, Finance, Tax, Payroll, and Accounting and to drive alignment across global projects.
- Partner closely with other members of the Corporate Services team to deliver a high standard of customer service.
- Drive Global Expense & Card Program Team projects and propose opportunities for process improvements.
Minimum Requirements:
- Extensive experience in corporate setting related to accounting, finance, accounts payable, card program, expense, or data analytics
- Experience with Concur Expense tool
- Pharmaceutical experience (a strong plus but not mandatory)
- Experience managing PowerBi dashboards
Skills and Experience:
- Global experience, including working across multiple currencies and cultures
- Skilled in Excel with an ability to create ad hoc reports or analytics independently
- Strong verbal and written communication skills with ability to streamline processes, and communicate in a compelling, visual way, including PowerPoint
- Strong problem solving & critical thinking skills, and ability to draw conclusions & provide recommendations
- Ability to measure and analyze trends and patterns, and leverage results to determine actionable solutions
- Ability to navigate and be successful in a fast-paced, time-sensitive, and cross-functional work environment
- Ability to build strong relationships with business partners and excel in collaboration with internal peers to drive project completion
- Strong judgment and professionalism
- Fundamental understanding of how Finance & Accounting teams function & systems
- Ability to navigate and champion company policies and compliance regulations.
