We are a passionate team on a mission to enable a fairer, more decentralised world. Apart from the tech, we care a lot about user experience and aim to make complex technologies accessible to everyone.

At LI.FI, data sits at the heart of how we build, scale, and make decisions. We’re looking for a Chapter Lead, Data who will drive our data strategy, build a strong data culture, and help us uncover insights that move the business forward

A Chapter Lead in our team acts as the bridge between engineers and the company, ensuring smooth delivery, promoting engineering excellence, and fostering team growth. Please note: For this role, we have a strong preference for you to be located in EMEA.

What you’ll do
  • Take ownership of LI.FI’s data strategy and shape the path toward Head of Data

  • Build and evolve our internal insights platform to reduce time from data request to delivery

  • Ensure scalable, reliable pipelines for tracking API and product usage

  • Define and champion best practices in data modeling, documentation, governance, and infrastructure

  • Translate product and business questions into concrete data projects and pipelines

  • Mentor and support the data team as it grows, creating processes that scale

What we’re looking for
  • 6+ years in data-focused roles (engineering, analytics, or analytics engineering)

  • Experience mentoring or leading team members; motivated to step into a Head of Data role

  • Strong technical background with our tech stack (SQL, Python, cloud data warehouses, pipelines)

  • Experience building or scaling data/insights platforms

  • Ability to bridge technical and business discussions, with excellent communication skills

  • Curious about crypto and DeFi (experience is a plus, but not required)

Nice to have:
  • Experience leading a data team in a startup or growth-stage company

  • Familiarity with blockchain analytics tools (Dune, Nansen, Flipside, etc.)

  • Background in software engineering or product development

We encourage you to apply if you feel your experience and skills equip you for this job but are not listed here!
