The Role
As our Chief Automation & AI, you’ll serve as the driving force behind SiGMA’s evolution into an AI-powered organization. This is a hands-on leadership role, combining strategy, architecture, and delivery. You’ll design and implement scalable automation systems, integrate AI into core operations, and mentor teams to adopt an AI-first mindset.
You’ll work closely with the Head of Technical Implementation to bridge vision and execution — translating innovation into tools, workflows, and processes that redefine how SiGMA operates.
This is not a traditional corporate position. You’ll work in a flat, fast-moving environment, with direct access to leadership and full freedom to experiment, test, and build.
What You Will Do
- Develop and execute a 3-year AI strategy across all departments, aligning innovation with measurable business outcomes.
- Serve as internal tech architect, designing the backbone for all internal tools and automations, leveraging Make.com, Zapier, Relevance AI, and N8N, integrated with custom-built solutions.
- Lead AI and automation initiatives in content, SEO, customer engagement, analytics, and operations, driving measurable impact in efficiency and revenue.
- Collaborate hands-on with the Head of Technical Implementation and internal teams to design, test, and deploy automation workflows from concept to execution.
- Guide full-stack development efforts — supporting backend (Python, Java), frontend (HTML, CSS, JS), and integration through custom APIs.
- Maximize tool and platform value by pushing the limits of no-code/low-code environments and ensuring seamless interoperability across SiGMA’s ecosystem.
- Own the full lifecycle of internal applications and automations, ensuring reliability, scalability, and security.
- Build and lead training and change management initiatives, empowering teams to adopt and scale AI tools confidently.
- Establish governance for AI tools and data, preventing fragmentation and maintaining quality, integration, and ethical standards.
- Define and measure KPIs and ROI for all AI-driven initiatives, reporting progress and impact to the CEO and board.

What We’re Looking For
- 7+ years of experience in AI, automation, or software development, ideally across both strategic and hands-on roles.
- Proven success in designing and delivering complex multi-platform automations and AI-powered solutions.
- Deep technical fluency in Python, Java, JavaScript, and API development.
- Hands-on mastery of no-code/low-code tools – particularly Make.com, Zapier, Relevance AI, and N8N.
- Strong understanding of frontend and backend development, capable of guiding teams on both architecture and execution.
- A natural teacher and mentor, passionate about building internal capabilities.
- Excellent stakeholder communication and the ability to influence cross-departmentally.
- Visionary mindset with pragmatic execution – balancing experimentation with measurable impact.
