Every day, you’ll lead a high-performing team of Software Development Solution Engineers in one of Microsoft’s most strategically critical arenas, helping enterprise customers modernize their development platforms with Azure, GitHub, GitHub Copilot, GitHub Advanced Security, and AI-assisted engineering practices. This is a people leadership role at the center of the cloud and AI developer transformation wave, where your impact comes through the team you model, coach, care for, and enable.

As the Software Development Solution Engineering Manager for the United Kingdom Cloud & AI Platforms team, you champion real-world customer innovation by leading your Solution Engineering team to win technical decisions, unblock adoption, and drive measurable value across the software development lifecycle. Your team will help customers move from legacy developer platforms to secure, scalable, AI-powered engineering systems using GitHub, GitHub Copilot, Azure application platforms, DevOps, platform engineering, and modern cloud-native architecture. You’ll inspire and develop your team, help them build repeatable plays, inspect quality and execution, and maintain the developer-community credibility needed to coach effectively and earn trust with technical audiences.

You play a fundamental role in connecting vision to execution, aligning strategy with customer impact, and elevating team performance. Join us as we help enterprise software teams transform how they plan, build, secure, deploy, and operate applications at scale.

At Microsoft, our mission to empower every person and every organization on the planet to achieve more guides how we partner with customers to deliver trusted, impactful solutions. With a growth-mindset culture, we innovate responsibly and measure success by shared progress, people, teams, and customers. Join us to do meaningful work that changes the world and helps shape what’s next for everyone.
