What You’ll do

 

Your key accountabilities will include

  • Deliver a varied portfolio of strategic, complex and ad hoc analytical projects from high impact store trials to major commercial questions providing clear, evidence-based recommendations that shape Food performance.

  • Take ownership of ambiguous problems, structuring them into robust analysis and driving them through to actionable insights with pace and precision.

  • Translate datasets into compelling stories that influence senior decision makers using strong commercial intuition and excellent narrative skills.

  • Build trusted relationships across the Foods business and collaborate closely with the wider Data & Analytics community.

  • Champion innovation by improving processes, promoting automation and adopting emerging Data and AI capabilities to unlock efficiency and empower self-serve insight.

 

Who you are

 

Your skills and experience will include

  • Strong technical capability in SQL, Python or similar tools with an appetite for emerging technologies including AI, machine learning and advanced analytics techniques.

  • Excellent communication skills, able to simplify complex analysis into clear, influential narratives for both technical and non-technical audiences.

  • Solid understanding of statistical methods and experiment design ensuring rigorous, accurate and reliable insight.

  • A proactive, self-starter mentality with the ability to manage multiple projects independently and deliver high quality work at pace.

  • Broad experience applying analytics to commercial challenges such as customer behaviour, performance, pricing, promotions, supply chain or finance.
