Job Description

Product Strategy & Offering’s mission is to lead the early phases of the product value chain. As a team, we provide market research insights to articulate the value and pricing of our product offering. We oversee budgets, drive investment decisions, and prioritize the entire product portfolio in the best interest of Avaloq and its broad client community. We translate company strategy into product evolution and innovation by orchestrating and integrating with our partners’ ecosystem.

The team engages with numerous stakeholders and plays a central role in advocating for and conveying clear messages around our products throughout the organization and to external parties, with marketing providing support. We value curiosity, adaptability, collaboration, and dedication.     

Your key tasks 

  • Monetization and pricing strategy: assess and shape product value, confirm with sales the market opportunities, and determine optimal pricing for new launches
  • Manage and maintain the product catalogue, keeping it up-to-date, consistent, and accessible
  • Drive go-to-market planning by consolidating business cases and supporting sales teams for successful product introductions
  • Use compelling storytelling to promote Avaloq solutions and third-party offerings within the ecosystem
  • Support sales in offering preparation ensuring end client satisfaction

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in business and economics or information technology or engineering
  • Minimum 10 years’ experience in software financial industry and knowledge of banking products
  • Stakeholder management: collaborate effectively with sales, marketing, finance, product management, business analysts, and the leadership team
  • Business and financial acumen: demonstrate proficiency in understanding P&L statements and profit margins, possess knowledge of SaaS metrics, and skillfully develop and assess business cases
  • Customer and market empathy: recognize what drives customer value and willingness to pay, exhibit strong communication abilities
  • Experimentation mindset: display adaptability in ambiguous situations and embrace iterative processes
  • Proficiency in English. German and Italian are an advantage

It would be a real bonus if you have 

  • Master’s degree in business and economics or information technology or engineering
  • Experience in a B2B SaaS organization
  • Avaloq products knowledge
