The role will be key to driving consistent and effective communications content that helps ensure understanding and alignment of high-impact business initiatives.

This individual will work closely with the president of AMGa $1.3 billion business focused on the food, environmental, forensics, chemicals, and advanced-materials markets — to help articulate business priorities and initiatives. • Understand the strategic objectives for the organization and develop materials that are conveyed in the voice of its leadership.

  • Develop and deliver internal communications plans for critical AMG projects.

  • At times, develop and deliver external communications plans for AMG’s senior leaders.

  • Coordinate with other Enterprise Communications team members to deliver content and programs to meet program objectives and timelines.

  • Cross-functional collaboration with various leads to deliver a consistent approach representative of Agilent’s brand and AMG's strategic vision.

  • Drive communications initiatives to deliver maximum impact coordinated with companywide events or initiatives and linked to important public relations and media events.

  • Collaborate with others to design and maintain the AMG SharePoint site for effective communication and collaboration.

  • Develop PowerPoint presentations, video scripts, and other written materials to support AMG. This may also include Q&A documents, website content, fact sheets, and other materials.

  • Explore and execute novel approaches to drive employee engagement and enhanced brand activation. Examples include the creative use of video, design elements, infographics, and other new tools and media content.

  • Handling highly sensitive and confidential information on a regular basis with the utmost discretion.

  • Ability to build relationships and quickly understand the organization to ensure effective collaboration, while also being able to solve problems independently.

  • Providing regular communications updates for operational, executive, and ad hoc reviews.

  • Successfully measure the progress, results, and impact of communications efforts.
