Role Overview

The Communications Manager – Platform and Product will lead product-focused public relations to communicate the differentiators of Nebius's AI infrastructure software stack and demonstrate its value to customers. This is a hands-on external communications role with a strong media relations focus, requiring direct relationship building with journalists, editors, and industry influencers across the technology media ecosystem.

You will work closely with product and product marketing teams to translate technical capabilities into compelling competitive narratives, then execute media strategies to amplify these stories across tech and trade publications, podcasts, newsletters, and industry platforms.

This is a PR and communications role for candidates who can demonstrate:

  • A track record of hands-on media relations across the broader media ecosystem including pitching journalists, building direct relationships, and managing press activities independently
  • Experience in the cloud business or software industry with a deep understanding of B2B/enterprise technology markets
  • Strong writing and storytelling abilities with demonstrated experience in customer-focused and technical content creation
Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute PR strategies across the full media ecosystem, not just traditional publications
  • Build and maintain direct relationships with journalists, editors, and influencers across tech media, trade publications, AI-focused outlets, newsletters, podcasts, industry KOLs, etc.
  • Pitch product stories, competitive differentiation narratives, and customer use cases directly to media contacts
  • Secure earned media coverage highlighting Nebius's software stack advantages and market positioning
  • Manage press activities including product launches, industry events, analyst briefings, and media interviews
  • Monitor competitive media coverage and identify opportunities to position Nebius's differentiators
  • Develop PR materials including press releases, pitch documents, messaging frameworks, and media assets
  • Work with product teams to understand technical capabilities and translate them into compelling business value propositions
  • Partner with product marketing and analyst relations to align on messaging and competitive positioning
  • Develop and elevate the external profiles of product and engineering team members as subject matter experts and thought leaders
Key Qualifications & ExperienceMust-have requirements:
  • Deep familiarity with technology media ecosystem including traditional outlets, emerging platforms, and industry influencers
  • Demonstrated experience in hands-on media relations with proven ability to secure coverage in technology and trade media through direct journalist relationships
  • Cloud or software industry experience with understanding of enterprise/B2B technology markets and competitive dynamics
  • Exceptional writing and storytelling skills to articulate product value and differentiation
  • Track record of translating technical capabilities into business value narratives that resonate with enterprise audiences
  • Experience working directly with product and technical teams to develop positioning and messaging
  • Self-directed approach with ability to build and execute PR strategies independently
Preferred qualifications:
  • Experience in AI infrastructure, cloud computing, or broader ML/AI ecosystem in B2B or tech-to-tech context
  • Background in technology journalism or technical writing
  • Experience at high-growth software or infrastructure companies
  • Familiarity with developer and enterprise IT decision-maker audiences
  • Understanding of competitive dynamics in cloud/infrastructure markets
  • Experience with industry analyst relations and technical briefings
