About the Position:

We’re looking for a creative Social Media & Content Specialist with bold campaign ideas, a strong handle on Linkedin, and a passion for shaping better cities and transport systems. As a member of the global marketing team, you will report to our Head of Communications and Public Relations from the London office. Your objective is to amplify the Optibus brand, bring stories to life, and capture attention across various digital channels, particularly in the transportation technology space. You will collaborate with multiple teams (marketing, product, customer success, HR) to produce written and visual content that supports brand awareness, lead generation, and engagement across our digital channels. Responsibilities:

Social Media Strategy & Management

  • Own our global social media presence on LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram, and other platforms, drive engagement, and respond to comments.
  • Plan, write, and publish social media posts on various topics, including events, employer branding, company updates, and special holidays. 
  • Leverage LinkedIn Events and LinkedIn Newsletters to maximize content reach.
  • Monitor content engagement and produce performance reports.

Content Creation

  • Write and upload blog posts, newsletters, webinar recaps, case studies, and thought leadership pieces that drive engagement.
  • Collaborate with or interview key stakeholders (Optibus leadership, product teams, clients, partners, investors) to produce in-depth, compelling content.
  • Support webinars by securing topics & panelists, developing questions, organizing prep sessions, and coordinating follow-ups.
  • Create videos and themed graphics for various campaigns. 

Performance, Analytics, & Optimization

  • Track and report on content and social media performance, iterating on successful formats and channels to improve engagement and conversion.
  • Brainstorm and implement bold new initiatives to drive reach and troubleshoot issues.

Requirements
  • 2-4 years of experience in content marketing and social media management (LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook)
  • Fluent English speaker 
  • Strong writing and storytelling skills and a sharp eye for brand tone and audience interests. 
  • Experience with visual design tools (Canva, PlayPlay, etc.) 
  • Experience with web management platforms (Wordpress, Hubspot) 
  • Experience with analytics tools for measuring and reporting on content performance.
  • Ability to juggle multiple projects, prioritize deadlines, and coordinate across global teams. 
  • A collaborative mindset and willingness to step in wherever needed.

Bonus points:

  • You’re someone who loves or studied public transport and understands the space, jargon, challenges (i.e. NUMTOTs welcome!)
  • Experience in the SaaS B2B or B2G space
