Responsible for processing purchase orders, managing order inquiries, and providing customer service via multiple channels while ensuring timely shipments.
Fluidra is looking for a Contract Order Processing Representative I to join our team in Carlsbad, CA.
WHAT YOU WILL CONTRIBUTE
Processes purchase orders that are received via EDI, fax, and email. Responsible for order management, ensuring orders are set up to ship complete and on time depending on availability. Responds to customer order status inquiries, submits purchase order correction requests, and provides product availability information via phone, email and fax. Additionally, you will:
- Provide customer service via email and over the telephone for all regions.
- Partner with Sales and Service Managers to resolve customer order inquires and issues.
- Basic customer service skills including processing order requests via email and fax.
- Submits purchase order correction requests.
- Provides product availability and pricing.
- Knowledge of EDI and other order processing functions and procedures such as creating SOPs for order processing.
- Processing credits and rebills as required.
- Proactively communicate on availability issues for urgent requests.
- Work closely with the Order Trafficking team to facilitate customer on time shipments.
- Function as a back-up CFL Advocate for other regions when necessary.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
WHAT WE SEEK
- Must be able to work with limited supervision in a fast-paced environment and have the ability to multi-task.
- Must take direction well, and follow instructions carefully, but also must be comfortable using common sense and personal judgment to help determine the validity of a customer claims.
- Good written and pleasant verbal communication skills.
- Must have 2 years of experience delivering customer service with a positive attitude and cheerful disposition.
- Must be able to type 50 WPM.
EDUCATION
High School Diploma or equivalent experience
