Dragonfli Group is seeking an expert-level Cybersecurity Solutions Architect/Engineer to support a large federal agency's fraud analytics and mitigation program. In this role, you will apply advanced AI and machine learning techniques to uncover cybersecurity threats and fraud schemes hidden across large, disparate data sources. Using Databricks, Python, SQL, and R, you will design and build analytics solutions, including integrations of large language models and computer vision, and communicate findings to stakeholders at every level of the organization. You will direct a specialized team of data scientists, data engineers, and business intelligence professionals, respond to ad hoc investigative requests, and recommend remediation to close gaps in existing systems and processes. This role calls for roughly ten or more years of relevant experience in AI/ML solution architecture, data science, or a closely related discipline.
This is a multi-year contract position involving a large US federal agency. Candidates with previous federal contracting experience are preferred. U.S. Citizenship or Permanent Residency is required. If hired, all work related to this role must be performed within the continental U.S.
Responsibilities:
- Apply expert-level AI/ML analytic approaches to large volumes of data from disparate sources to uncover cybersecurity threats and fraud schemes
- Leverage Databricks to develop analytic solutions using Python, SQL, and R; create, interpret, visualize, and report on complex data for stakeholders at all levels
- Design AI-powered solutions that integrate large language models, computer vision, and advanced analytics into secure, high-performing environments
- Direct specialized teams of data scientists, data engineers, and business intelligence specialists delivering AI and advanced technology solutions across secure environments
- Manage delivery across multiple engagements spanning business intelligence, technology and tradecraft, financial operations, workforce analytics, cyber, AI, risk management, and product development
- Respond to ad hoc requests from stakeholders to investigate emerging concerns
- Work across business units to identify, collect, and aggregate new data sources, advancing the team's mission and reducing time to insight
- Identify and analyze gaps in systems and processes, and recommend remediation to more effectively deter cybersecurity threats and fraudulent activity
- Apply MLOps and model lifecycle management practices to keep deployed models reliable and current
Must-Have
- Expert-level experience with data science and AI/ML concepts applied to fraud detection and cybersecurity
- Hands-on experience with Databricks (or a comparable big-data analytics platform), Python, SQL, and R
- Demonstrated experience designing AI-powered solutions that integrate large language models and computer vision into secure, production environments
- Experience directing or leading specialized technical teams (data scientists, data engineers, BI specialists)
- Experience managing delivery across multiple, concurrent engagements or workstreams
- U.S. Citizenship or Permanent Residency; ability to pass a background check; ability to perform all work within the continental United States
- Approximately ten or more years of relevant professional experience (exact threshold pending recruiter confirmation)
Preferred / Nice-to-Have
- Previous federal contracting experience
- Familiarity with MLOps and model lifecycle management tooling
- Experience with Tableau and AWS
- Prior experience specifically in fraud analytics or fraud mitigation programs
- Existing Public Trust or higher federal clearance
