The Opportunity
Join one of the UK Government’s most ambitious digital transformation programmes, helping to centralise Local Authority Land Charge registers into a single Land Registry system.
We’re looking for a Data Analyst to support the transformation of complex datasets from multiple Local Authorities into a standardised schema. You’ll work across both digital and manual data sources, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and quality throughout the process.
Key Responsibilities:
- Analyse and clean large datasets from varied sources
- Identify and fix data issues, including geometry and formatting errors
- Quality control data from manual and third-party sources
- Compare pre- and post-transformation outcomes to ensure accuracy
- Document transformation rules and maintain audit trails
- Collaborate with engineers to define technical requirements
- Contribute to process and tool improvements
About You
You’re a confident communicator with a strong analytical mindset and a passion for working with complex datasets. You bring a mix of technical expertise and stakeholder engagement skills, and you thrive in a collaborative environment.
We’re looking for someone with:
- Excellent communication skills across all stakeholder levels
- Advanced proficiency in Excel and SQL
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Experience working with spatial data and GIS tools (e.g. QGIS, ArcGIS)
- Proven ability to manage and analyse large, multi-source datasets
- Understanding of optimal methods for data capture and transformation
